PZH-25

PZH-25 is a composition that works as a cross linker and curative product in order to

improve cohesive strength of resins and binders.

This improvement produces films with better resistances, particularly scratch resistance,

abrasion, hydrolysis and general chemical resistances. Specifically, PZH-25 has advantages

whenever high transparency, non-yellowing applications are needed. Its balanced

composition provides extra flexibility at room and low temperatures.

PZH-25 contains acyl aziridines which react with carboxylic acids to form ester-amide

linkages and with alcohols (in the presence of an acid catalyst) to form ether-esters.

Can be used in both, solvent based and water based products, ranging from room

temperatures until heat curing processes, depending on the substrate and the need to

speed and complete cross linking process.

The product is delivered ready-to-use. Normal dosing varies depending on application

process and results, but 1% to 3% of the product on total formulation may be a good

starting point.

Applications cover most of the CASE formulations, particularly:

¸ Coatings (water based, plastic coatings, wood varnishes)

¸ Adhesives (PSA; among others: protective films, adhesives for tactile panels,

electrodes, optic fibers, solar panels, flexible screens, etc.)

¸ Sealants and elastomers (tire cord, as an example)

¸ Textile and leather (pigment printing, finishing treatments)

Handling and storage:

Keep closed in the original packing, in a protected site, fresh and dry, between +5oC and

+35oC.
