SUPERCHLON LQ1805S

1. Introduction

SUPERCHLON LQ1805S is a newly developed chlorinated polypropylene which provides excellent solubility into non-toluene solvent and strong adhesion to OPP films.

Appearance: Colorless to pale-yellow pellet Odor: Resin itself

Toxicity: None Free chlorine: None

Dry film: Colorless, transparent and flexible, thermoplastic film Flammability: None flammable (dry film)

* Because of low softening point of the resin, pellet may adhere each other to be lump in a certain circumstance.

3. Typical specification

Chlorine content (wt%): 31.0 - 33.0

Viscosity (mPa∙s, 25°C): 100 - 500 Gardner Color No.: 6 or less

* Viscosity and color measurement: 30 wt% toluene solution

These properties are typical of average lots. Nippon  Paper  Industries  makes no representation that  the material in any particular shipment will conform to the listed properties.

Handling Instruction: The solution of this product has a nature to cause viscosity increase, gelling and fine particles in winter season, but in terms of its performance, this will not be an issue if warm up to 40-50°C (104-122°F) again before using.
